It’s the blues but not as we know it and it’s ProzaKc Blues, also not quite as we know it. Alex has revisited the session reels for The ConstruKction Of Light to see what joys lurk therein. With both guitarists and vocal ministrations of Hooter Johnson removed from the mix, we are left with the rhythm buddies, Pat Mastelotto and Trey Gunn, down there deep in the gravel and groove.

So the page title gives 1999, but the filename is 2000: can anyone clarify which year is correct? I’d guess 1999 because of the preceding day’s track, "Pat’s Count."

Nice!
If DGM decided to issue the 40th anniversary edition of The ConstruKction Of Light mixed this way, I would not hesitate to buy it. This is terrific; makes me want to revisit this album, which always sounded brash and cluttered. Now I can hear why. Two guys making this much noise/music is almost more than enough.More, please.

KC play the blues - a genre I usually do not resort to (anymore).Always loved the track, and this demix is brilliant.
