The combination of baritone sax and guitar back was a formidable sound back in 1970 and so it is in 2016 on this item of classic KC repertoire. As each section of the song unfolds so too does the level of complexity and difficulty and with it, pure excitement. It was pretty amazing stuff back on In The Wake Of Poseidon but it’s working on another level entirely here in concert.

The 5th of November 2016 was my first King Crimson concert. By that time, I have been a Crimhead for nearly 7 years. This was my first chance to see them live. Words cannot describe what I felt as I heard this band live for the first time, but I will say this: when Robert started Fracture I said to myself:"Ok, I heard Fracture, now I can go home". The concert was pure joy, elegance, virtuosity and precision. I will never forget the 5th November of 2016 as it marks the opening of a new chapter in my life. I could describe how each song was performed, but I find that pointless, as I could not do the songs justice. But I will say one more thing. When Gavin went crazy during his Schizoid drum solo and Robert started shaking with quiet laughter, I thought I had seen it all. Thank you King Crimson!
