When Travis and Fripp unveiled their variation on the Moonchild theme in 2009 it was the first time the guitarist had aired this haunting melody in a live setting since its appearance in 1969. That symmetry, combined with the duo’s use of looping technology, provides a very satisfying sense of everything coming full circle. A moment to savour.
