Mel Collins recalls that when what eventually became the Larks’ Tongues incarnation of the band was first being thought about, he was sounded out about joining up. As we all know, it wasn’t to be. Over forty years later however we can hear how things might well have worked out had he joined the team back then. Fans of symmetry will note that as the sax solo gets underway it fleetingly mirrors the shrill screeching that ushers in the piece,triggered by Pat and sampled from the original recording.

A complete show

I’ve been to both Berlin shows and I prefer the setlist of the 1st night. However, the playing on the 2nd night was even better than the 1st Fantastic soloing Fantastic interlocking playing of "the boys" I’d love to get the complete show(s) Thank you so much for the little gems
