Another night and another clutch of punters feeling angry, baffled or both at Fripp’s soundscaping. Holding close to the shape and direction of the previous evening, the squerning and werning didn’t go down too well in Spain.
Edulega said “First of all, i would like to say that we paid for a G3 concert and we had a G2 concert. The show starts with Robert Fripp performance and this is the worst moment of the night. A few years ago I had the opportunity to see KING CRIMSON live and it was great, but the thing is that Robert Fripp is not the guitarrist that you want to see in a G3 concert. His set was boring.”
This was a view echoed by Rachul who’d come all the way from Peru. “The first part with Fripp was super boring. The worse thing was that he seemed to be scared or somthing like that. But he played great with Joe and Steve at the end of the show.” Starting G3 was Robert Fripp. The crowd was very offensive to him, because the type of the music and 'cause he didn't go out of his "prison"...FInally, was the G3 JAM. This was A MA Z I N G!!! When Robert Fripp starts making a solo, all the crowd (including me) were surprised. He was playing faster than others!!”
