Radical Dance operated briefly as a kind of pre-projeKct between Fripp, Mastelotto and David Singleton in April 1998. One previous result from their sessions together was released as Sabre Dance on the DGM sampler, Sometimes God Smiles. With hypnotic beats rebounding from right to left, abrupt surges of savage dayglo guitar, melody lines wryly conjuring Herbie Mann-style lounge cool, and robo-bass marching in step, Radical Dance in some ways presages some of the ProjeKct Two but is really its own thing entirely. Mastelotto would explore this territory to a much greater degree with Bill Munyon as BPM&M with XtraKcts & ArtifaKcts released in 2003 on Tony Levin's Papa Bear label.

A serious toe-tapper right here. I loved the sample from ProjeKct Two's "In space there is no North...". Pure bliss indeed!

Aptly named "Slow Bliss", the tune is not slow at all! Tapping my toes as I click Repeat in iTunes. We want more! - Tony

Excellent!
Great track. Especially like the little "I REPEAT MYSELF WHEN UNDER STRESS" sample stuck in there. One doubt though is why is it called Radical Dancing in the write-up and Slow Bliss on the download?Radical Dance is the name / persona given to the project by Robert. Slow Bliss is the title of the track. Sid
