Direct from the master tapes for the Lizard sessions we hear Robert's beautiful guitar part for the song which closed side one of King Crimson's third album in glorious isolation. Definitely a cause for a sharp intake of breath!

This track is now available as part of Mr Stormy's next bumper collection. His Fourth year of treasures from the murky, cavernous DGM archives, torch in hand, fedora upon his head is already available for download.

oh what a document )
15 years ago I would give a lot to hear this - nowadays I have it for free ) the writing! so classical and well-fitted into what’s happening in the song; the technique - the plectrum attack - very articulate without being overpowered; that vintage crimso acoustic tone - bright but gentle (see Cadence, Cirkus, Cat Food even)). I love the guitar player, and the composer too ) thank you!

thank you
thank you for providing things like this. its interesting hearing the various tracks alone and the studio chatter ect. And I know it take time to pull this stuff off the multi-track. this is the kind of playing I need to practice. thank you Jay
