The piece in question encompasses motifs that would appear on his solo album, Exposure, and of course eagle-eared KC enthusiasts will recognise that the reappearance of the figures that were last used on the ill-fated Guts On My Side - a track that was performed once only by Crimso back in 1974.

Some of the ideas one can hear there seem to be further developed in collaboration with Trey Gunn. We can hear them on earlier-published-there Proto Punk track (rf19921211-0101). It is good that such tunes are not forgotten!
