An excellent improvisation in the middle of Thrak - a portion of which made it onto the THRaKaTTaK album. Brutal, punishing and busy, there’s an incredibly oppressive density to some of these sections and tonight’s is a good one. Nice to hear Two Sticks emerge into Indiscipline rather than the usual Elephant Talk and after a barnstorming version of LTIA Pt2 you can hear the various members of the band yo-ing and roaring to each other and the audience, clearly pleased with what was a great set. Just back from the gig at St. Petersburg, eyewitness tcona breathlessly posted on ET “I...must say that Crimson applied the LAW of MAXIMUM INTENSITY. The only soft part of the evening was during the playing of Walking on Air...They simply showed no quarter. It was intense from start to finish. They overwhelmed the theater with high intensity playing and in the end left people shaken from a evening in the court of Crimson beast. This band is one of a kind. No one else can even come close.” He’s not wrong!

Now the six crimsos have the repertoire in their veins and start the thing that makes Crimso so intere...

A row of shows that began in late spring / early summer in Europe (they took off when they made Italy then), well documented in the first dgm-bundle. Now the six crimsos have the repertoire in their veins and start the thing that makes Crimso so interesting and unique: Play each piece at each performance differently in slight nuances, but always try to make a reference, a standard, the same time...
