You can hear various whoops and hoots from different parts of the stage as they prepare to blast off again with a truly ferocious run-through of SSEDD. Oh, and Red. Whichever way you look at it, that’s a turbo-charged piledriver of a set. Understandably, they dial it down a bit with One Time but it offers only the briefest respite as BBoom and Thrak raise the stakes once again. As in previous versions, the solo section sounds like a construction yard in full swing; busy and extremely cluttered with hardly any space at all for anyone to develop any lines that deviate from the main thrust. That said, full marks for BB for playing the theme briefly on the marimba setting of his electronic kit. A good night indeed.
