The word "Fun" seems to be the key word in most reviews when describing this release and I can only add to the growing throng of reviews that FUN this concert definately is to listen too. The sond is , of course, lower quality than some other releases being an audience bootleg, but it is far from being unlistenable. What kind of band is it that offers a heart-warming song one minute to follow it with a heart-stopping sonic monster hell-bent on stomping you into the ground? [endtease]Dear reader, the name of the band is King Crimson. Their set-list has always been a celebration of contrasts designed to give as much of bang for the buck as possible whilst still managing to subvert expectations. For example, with hindsight the encore of Heartbeat and LTIA pt2 looks incredibly brave or bloody-minded. Or possibly both. Indiscipline sounds particularly dangerous whilst The Sheltering Sky gives an impressively strong account of itself with some outstanding work from Adrian. There’s a real vivacity on display with this gig that make its inclusion here more than worthwhile.
