Having access to the individual tracks, Mister Stormy, himself a drummer, enabled him to replace Bill Bruford’s electronic hi-hat click and largely replace it with the bass drum, noting that “It is on the the 2 and 4 of the bar, which along with Tony's bass part, gives it a more reggae feel, in my opinion.”
A spacious and subtle re-orientation of the track, the bloom of faded-in harmonics and backwards guitar at the end is pure bliss.
