It’s the final night of the tour and there’s an end of term party atmosphere creeping into the night’s proceedings. It’s not that often you hear Fripp incorporating the national anthems of the countries Crimson happen to find themselves in but you’ll hear La Marseillaise being run up the fretboard if not the flagpole. For his part, Mel takes Ellington’s A Train for a ride down the track. Old warhorse it may be but it’s still sounding good.

This song crosses over and around so many emotions while holding fast to its jazz & rock roots that it gets me every time. Only second to the LTIA series does it generously feed a music lovers appetite. Thank you DGM for the 1,000 club and all this excellent music.

The recording is open but the cymbals are not recorded with the same quality like say a 1973 analog Revox recording. It is not pleasant for the ear. So perhaps a sound treatment or other microphones can help. I buy sometimes a FLAC if Iike the piece but here (Easy Money) a MP3 softens the cymbals in a nice way. Just a word of advice here. But thank you in a big way for these downloads, very much appreciated.
