With its swift changes in timbre and tempo, if you could sum this track up in one word then it might be ‘velocity.’ The OED defines this word as ‘1. Rapidity or celerity of motion; swiftness, speed... 2.Rapidity of operation or action; quickness.” From the dazzling percussive intro, the grinding chords, the hairpin bends of cross-picking, hurtling past the racing traffic of sampled FX and through the final strait of the climax, it’s impossible not to swept up by the breathtaking pace.
