Thrumming around one of Levin's killer grooves, Bruford and Mastelotto test out the rhythmic possibilities available to them while Fripp's strings hover pensively above. Eventually all four lock together on the groove and there's a nice build. Taken from the second set of Vrooom sessions,even though this is clearly work in progress one wonders why this groovy little tow-tapper never made it beyond the walls of Applehead Studios.

I remember Vroom as being a bit of a disappointment, back in those days. I was excited to hear about that new KC album that was about to be released after many years... I was disappointed after listening to this album. Anyway, I think my opinion about Vroom would have been different when this track would have been on it, perhaps a bit more developped. From the length point of view, that should not have been a problem as Vroom was a short album..... This piece of music is very promissing and...

Given the proper care this could have been a ’vehicle’ as Schidzoid Man was on ITCOTCK.
