King Crimson was a very small part of Boz's long musical career, but it has often been said that the lyrics to "Ladies of the Road" were an all too accurate representation of this early period of his life as a young man on tour. We offer this unreleased remix, made at the time of the Frame by Frame box set as an all too small, perhaps unlikely, but nonetheless sincere tribute. The review section offers a space for everyone to leave their own thoughts.

Boz technically passed away four years before I was born, but, I still feel I need to pay tribute to a very good soft singer. Although him on Schizoid Man and Pictures Of A City weren't up to the level of Greg Lake, they're still full of fabulous singing. Although Boz's bass on the album left some to be desired, it sure didn't live. The songs created by The Islands Band were classic examples of soft songs, relaxing song, that, every once in a while, jump you. Ladies Of The Road is an excellent e...

Although Boz's bass on the album left some to be desired, it sure didn't live. The songs created by The Islands Band were classic examples of soft songs, relaxing song, that, every once in a while, jump you. Ladies Of The Road is an excellent example of that. Starting soft, you think it's a soft song, then, Mel's sax kicks in, and you realize what kind of song it really is. being fairly new to Crimson, as in within the last couple years, it is that I never had a chance to see King Crimson proper live, but, other band's doing covers sure doesn't leave much out. As the title says, I really hate Earthbound, for audio quality reasons, but, it does contain a bit of Boz's quite small live Crimson catalogue, and for that, I can appreciate it. Franky, if it weren't for audio quality, Earthbound would probably be one of my most listened albums. Rest In Peace, Boz, who was given life on August 1st, 1946, and who took his leave of it on September 21st, 2006.

Dear Mr. Burrell
Dear Mr. Burrell I first saw Crimson in 1970 in Detroit. You were terrific. The old songs and new songs. What a voice. When you sang a bluesey version of Court....Wow! I caught all of the Detroit shows and haven’t missed one since (no matter who sang and played bass.) Years later Mr. Fripp was touring record stores. It was an autograph session. The guy in line in front of me asked RF about you, rolling his eyes and expecting something negative...

The guy in line in front of me asked RF about you, rolling his eyes and expecting something negative because of the Bad Company thing. Mr. Fripp said "Hey, Bad Company is one hell of a Rock N Roll Band." Miss ya Boz.
