My thanks to Christian for the following message. "In today’s Metro (freebie newspaper on the Tube in London) they have one of their regular features, On My Ipod, where various musicians list six songs that they are listening to recently. Today, Beardyman (no, me neither) has listed The Construkction of Light as one of his 6 tracks with the following explanation: ’This has the line: ’If Warhol’s a genius, what am I, a speck of lint on the penis of an alien buried in gelatin beneath the sands of Venus?’ The song is pure genius.’
Having seen the guys perform the song this summer in Chicago, I tend to agree with Beardyman, whoever he may be."
