Given the rich variety of textures and subtleties of detail posited in the original recording of 1974, it’s impossible to imagine this song performed by any other incarnation of King Crimson than the present lineup. The interplay between the drums, bass, and sax during the coda provides another example of why this group is such a hot ticket.
