What’s been particularly good about the current Crimson is the way in which revered material is interpreted rather than merely replicated. From Tony supple bass, Jeremy’s accenting in some of the Mellotron parts, Mel’s rhapsodising, and of course the ever-evolving, this is the sound of new life being infused into old classics.
