When Robert Fripp told Jakko Jakszyk they’d be playing LTIA Pt I back in 2014 he was thrilled. Then, when Robert suggested that Jakko should play the devilishly complex cross-picking parts, he took a deep breath and got down to some woodshedding. By the time they hit the road, Jakko made the part his own. Five years on, and the fifth gig into the European tour, the band’s opener on their second night in Stuttgart sounds pretty unbeatable.
