Oh, the goosebumps and tears of joy! King Crimson is my favorite band, all incarnations. But this eight-headed beast is the ultimate. To hear the Lizard and Islands material with MEL COLLINS! All eight seem to contribute equally, reinventing the material, and having a blast. The textures and interplay are brilliant. The only sad thing was not getting to experience LTIA2 and ITCOTCK due to the hard curfew. We've just ordered the Royal Package tickets for the first Atlanta show on October 23, and will probably do the same for the next night. Hopefully I can get a plus-one for the Family and Friends concert in Austin.
