The Estonian churchscapes represent some of Fripp’s deepest work to these ears, so it’s especially welcome to finally be able to hear the whole tour rather than the excepts that appeared on 2007’s At The End Of Time CD release.

Of the show itself Fripp records in his diary, “The performance was honoured by an introduction from Dr. Margus Laidre, who also asked for no photos. The custodian lady told me there has never been this many people in her church. A sell out! A very supportive audience, very generous. Mainly, a gentle evening and, almost as rare as hen’s teeth, a Soundscapes encore. The audience would not stop clapping. My Wife came back into the pastor’s room, provided as a changing room, and told me to go back out. Nearly always, I do what my Wife tells me to do, and this was the case this evening. There are some suggestions that this was the best piece of the performance.”
