Daniel McShane was at last night’s show at The Egg and reports back on some late arrivals and a flash photo.
“Despite the fact that many audience members were late in arriving and one made the mistake of taking a photograph (I now completely understand how such actions can destroy the energy of a show), we were treated to an amazing performance. Mr. Fripp and the League were gracious enough to begin again. It took some time and effort to rebuild, but rebuild they did! Thank you very much!”
DGMLive regulars Aronson and The Mighty Vargan were also at the show. Here’s Aronson’s take on the proceedings.
“Bravo to Robert and company for stopping the performance tonight to interrupt a photographing moron. The silence that followed as the League and Commandante left the stage was punctuated all so perfectly by a loud-enough-to-be-heard comment from The Mighty Vargan (my fellow traveller and audient for the two NY shows). I believe Vargan’s comment rhymed with "Juice Flag". For me The Egg show was the better of the two NY appearances I believe in part due to the venue acoustics. A stronger VROOOM and Coda certainly helped.Bravo! Dorrito! Cheeto!”
