Ronan Chris Murphy is the subject of Joe Taylor Jr’s 5 Questions series. Chris will be known to many KC fans for his production and engineering work with the likes of King Crimson, Tony Levin, and Jay Terrien’s album, All The Dolls In The Same Place which features Pat Mastelotto.
Murphy has a new album out, Destroying Silence, showcasing his as a producer and musician. I first met Chris during ProkeKct Two’s UK dates in London and Birmingham. We were later reunited on the ProjeKct Four West Coast tour, sharing the drive from Portland to San Francisco, swapping stories and Cheetos.
