World HQ.
The sun is shining, the sky is blue. This has been a wonderful, sunny weekend. Backtracking --
Friday 21st. May:At DGM HQ. Volume II of The 21st. Century Guide is falling into place.
EMI: Napster 2.0 has some KC material available for download. Strange, since it has not been authorized by us. I called EMI to ask them to investigate how this might have happened. EMI is in a 6-month sell-off period. Conventionally, this is often where disgruntled former record companies, who have been dumped or let go, do astonishing things to undermine former licensed catalogue. In some cases, effectively destroy the life of a catalogue. Virgin/EMI have undertaken not to play spoiling tactics, and I am not in fear. But we are vigilant.
At the end of a DGM day, into Salisbury & meeting Toyah for tea at a pal's, then a concert in the Cathedral by The Sinfionetta of London.
Saturday 22nd. May:
A day with The Horse, beginning by the back door. Sun & wonderment.
Then to the Malverns & a terrifying whipcord-snapping time, propelling us along the ridge to Peak Four.
A Horse on the hill --
Bredonborough is over there --
Sunday 23rd. May:
Mainly gentling in the day, friends visiting for tea, and a climb up Bredon in the evening --
