World HQ A bright nippy

World HQ.

A bright, nippy day in Bredonborough.

T arrived after midnight from London, up at seven to process her own alarming amount of Stuff; before making exotic cordials for Christmas! I went shopping to acquire preserving-jars for Slinky Minx Damson & Cherry Vodka delights. I have almost no experience of exotic spirits, but damson vodka with damsons from our garden is an experiment I am enjoying immensely. The kitchen shop, opposite our home, was only able to offer one large jar: apparently there is an outbreak in Bredonborough of sloe gin production.

Also this morning: The Vicar called to say he is considering a Welsh-language version of the School Aid project. It may not be widely known, but DGM is a tri-lingual establishment featuring English, French & Welsh speakers. The Vicar is taking advantage of this, and the Singleton’s family connections in Lampeter, to further the cause of School Aid.

Here in World HQ, I am listening to Soundscapes from Park West, Chicago (October 11&12th. 2005) for possible downloading.
