… to the baggage store where Tony bought his own suitcase in 1982; and where Briggs & Riley Happy Gigsters’ Wonder Wheelies are sold, and sent for repair. Then onto two Best Buys for computer goods & latest DVDs, a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant of Tony’s acquaintance & back here to dribble.

If you’re losing the audient after c. 20 minutes (which seems to be a recurring theme), is it possible (or even prudent ) to maybe shorten the length of the set (no reflection on the artist, of course) or perhaps find a ’filler’ to break up (for lack of a better word) the monotony?
On G3 (2004) the set length went from 40 to 30 to 20 minutes, without much change in audience reaction (boos & shouts of encouragement to leave). A prudent, and probably the only, course of action would be to replace this particular support act, rather than attempt to modify or curtail what they do. Let’s face it: Soundscapes aren’t welcome at pretty well most rock shows.

Lobby call for collection by Drummer bill at 19.25. We are going to Fremont Abbey to cheer loudly for
TTA .
22.39 Brother Bill arrived punctually & carried us to the TTA performance. The Team are endeavouring to find a relationship with their new & larger space, upstairs to their prior downstairs. The existing repertoire is not quite filling this space yet. All have my respect for their remarkable ongoing commitment & application to this project.
