Toyah has set off towards Charleston. Tomorrow she is filming in the church nearby which Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant decorated.

Today we went to Sir Edward Heath's outstanding home in Salisbury Cathedral Close for his birthday lunch. It is vary rare that ordinary mortals meet a genuine politician, and Sir Edward is the genuine article. He is very much liked and respected by those who work for him, which is always a recommendation. Sir Edward has a deep love of music, which I instinctively trust (somewhat unsurprisingly), and his home is a treasure.
