This early evening we had the first visit from neighbours in the village. We met in the kitchen, as per country tradition, for champagne & mince pies. Toyah & I agreed last weekend that, if we wait until we are both before inviting people around, we'll never meet anyone. So, I went ahead on my own inititative. Very civilised & cordial.
This has been a wonderful day at home, primarily dedicated to enjoying being at home.
