This second paragraph is in response to the concerns of a promoter who doesn't want us to play a club warm-up date: it might impact on ticket sales to the "proper" shows. My suggestion implies it is better for the promoter to suffer chagrin than the group's performance be compromised.
And an unsolicited comment from a pal at the London show:
"Myself & my brother-in-law (who also thoroughly enjoyed the London gig) were standing behind the woman mentioned in the guestbook who brought out an array of percussion devices from a large holdall to 'accompany' Adrian's solo spot - a very bizarre experience - though she did at least bang along in time to the tune...".
