Motel Exceptionally Modest, Somewhere Or Other, MA.

06.44

The view-from-a-room is much better this morning…

Ready to go…

Rising at 06.00 to a modest complementary breakfast and a swiftly out-the-door for a Driving Day: c. nine-hundred miles in one shot.

The BeefWagon parked in front of the Patriot’s Sports Bar & Grille

Mr. Beefy strides haltingly towards the passenger’s seat…

The highway is waiting…

23.45  Hotel Acceptable Plus, Lake Geneva.

Mr. Beefy and I set off from Somewhere-Or-Other off the highway in Massachusetts at 06.50 EST, arriving here at 21.05 Central, a journeying-time of sixteen hours and fifteen minutes. I took the first shift: c. 550 miles in nine hours and twenty minutes, with two short gas and water stops. Mr. Beefy performed the second act of today’s driving-heroism, also with two short gas and water stops.

Mr. Beefy drove me around the central downtown area, a short journeying time, so that I am sufficiently familiar with the action when feet hit the street tomorrow morning. Supper next door-ish, returning to the Suite of the Star, which is quite acceptable…

The Happy Gigster’s suitcase opened in front of the hotel front door. Hastily repacked, it re-opened once more inside the room…

When dribbling is squared – or is it cubed? – dribbling stops and an alternative zone appears.
