Pat Trey Laurie amp I

00.05
Pat, Trey, Laurie & I have just arrived back from dinner a block from the cathedral. Adrian is sick in bed and we won't know until the morning whether it's feasible to either travel or play tomorrow.

On the way from the restaurant, by the opera house (large & splendido), is a display which is the focus of a political protest. When we walked up yesterday evening there was a large walking procession protest, police, the works. So, what was the subject of the protest? Pat pointed it out. There were dual language posters. One poster decried "Over-Alienization". Then, this:

"The SS were part of the Wehrmacht and therefore deserve our respect and admiration".

I feel unable to comment further.

10.32
Adrian is on for the show tonight in Linz. We are off at 12.00.

12.23
No we're not. I went down to the lobby pre-checkout at 11.12 and met Adrian, Laurie & Trey. Adrian was keen to do the show, so as not to let down those who have bought tickets. I took one long look at this man and knew he was very sick. If he went onstage tonight, we might not make the second half of this tour.

So, we have another day in Vienna. Some intitial guitar practising, now I'll catch up with recent Guestbook postings.

13.24
Questions. Questions. Questions. Questions. Questions.

16.14
Ade is back from a specialist gastroenteritisticytistism clinic. He's getting a little perkier & is presently sitting in the courtyard, reading in the sun. And looking pitifully feeble.

23.00
An early meal at a vegetarian restaurant behind the hotel, coming to the end of Jason Elliot in Afghanistan, and an evening practising.
