O Drabness Drabness Matt Seattle

09.28 O Drabness! Drabness!

Matt Seattle, Border Piper, is visiting World Central today. Grey abounds to welcome him, a fanfare of rain for accompaniment. If my spirit were ready to soar, it would announce: "Today, I shall hover low & creep the drenched earth".

Come, leaping vaunting spirit - fly aloft and bear me with you, above this dreary canopy!

Matt is in good shape and currently vibrating with Diane. David is learning to learn the new enhanced SADiE system 3.0. The rain has lessened to a steady downpour. Painted Bride II is pleromating behind me.

Matt Seattle is working with Hugh in the Art Department, Border pipes by his side. During our Big Three meeting, in the adjoining room, we heard Matt plaintively wailing the opening theme of "Schizoid Man" on the pipes. This is a first.

David & Robert, the Ton Probers, are assembling a running order for Volume Two of "Cirkus". David is sipping a grapefruit spritzer as an aid to his recovery from Devil Bug.

An edited version of "Formentera Lady" now moves into "Sailor's Tale". The transition includes the guitarist introducing phrases from what became "Larks' I", but the material didn't belong with this band.

Matt has joined us in our listening. We have moved via "A Man, A City", "In The Court" to "Fracture". I believe this is the first whole-tone piece in rock. Does any visitor have any other information on this, please?

Hugh has appeared to take a photo for the Website of the Diary as it is being written. David is in the background, looking even more pitiful than your Diarist. Hugh is now attempting to include himself in the photo, artfully employing the mirror.

Side Two is now assembled in outline.
