But the Serbian Diner is great! And it’s only a block away.
The message light on this telephone has been on since I arrived in the room. Several times I have checked to see if there is a message. There is no message. Several times Mr. Patel, the manager, has confirmed he will be stopping the message light. After a while, he abandoned this approach & told me that I must have a message. I have no message. This telephone was originally in the room next door (203) although it is the telephone for this room (202). But the message light belongs to the room, not the telephone in the room. There is no message, regardless of what Mr. P tells me.

The message light in this room works (even though there is no message, the light works). The hairdryer, however, does not.
