Reflecting on the overall trajectory of my life. Sometimes exhaustion supports quiet reflecting, particularly where the environment & process are both conducive.
First arising of the day: King Crimson is No.1 in the Billboard album chart…
… with some help from Mr. West. The sale of 490,000 CDs in one week suggests that records do sell in the current changed music industry, but only where people want to buy them. This should be obvious. So, why would people want to buy a record in large numbers? If the industry cracks that one…

Emerging, lost, and wandering around before finding the back of the hotel. I rarely mind being lost, when there is enough time, because I get to visit places I would not discover if a clear routemap and/or satnav were guiding the way. On this occasion time was allowed, partly to discover whether Patricia would be able to use the subway to get her to Times Square on Saturday. Sistery inherited our Mother’s sense of direction; eg north of Battery Park = Brooklyn.
Arriving at the hotel, Patricia’s facility as a barber was put to good use.
