Hotel Smoke – And It Sucks! San Sebastian.
Look carefully at this panorama L>R & you might see the beach and the old town close by our hotel I…
The LCG have been rehearsing downstairs in the hotel & I am online in Café Smoke’s wifi & smoking zone.
From a reply to a technical Crafty e-enquiry…
One answer is: things can go wrong anywhere & everywhere, but there are some moments more likely than others. If the original process is irrecoverable, another one may begin. Where this leads may not, however, end up where the first was headed. If we are unable to hold ourselves in place (eg a lack of "being"; or through the impact of another, possibly hostile, process), there is likely to follow a series of subsequent processes. These head in initially unintended directions, and which may end up in the opposite direction intended in Process One. If we are clueless, maybe we arrive at our original starting point, where our head is placed where sunshine never falls?
This is one advantage to an authentic group: when we lose our way, another in the group can hold the direction for us all. Different types are able to naturally operate more effectively at different parts of the process. For example, some are good beginners, some are good enders, and some can hold the middle. On our own, we tend to fall down at the same point of each & every process. With observation, this gives us good data on who & what we are.
For me, the likely success of any process is governed primarily by its degree of necessity. So, the best way to ask your question is inside a process where necessity demands an answer. Necessity provides the juice. A necessary aim reaches back & pulls us towards it… the arriving/destination point reaches back & pulls us there…
The greater the necessity, the greater the available help…
That’s the best i can do with a theoretical question in a crap hotel with smoke everywhere, somewhere within a long walk of anywhere i’d like to be in San Sebastian, on the day of a debut gig with the LCG!

Hospitality is a little light…
… despite the rider.
Overall, a good gig. When The LCG plugged in, despite rehearsing & practising the move, loud eruptions erupted. How this happened is astonishing.
