There is nothing near the hotel other than a Carrabba’s Italian Grill half a mile down the road. So, an en route grocery-shopping for basic survival provisions. What would, once upon a time, have been desperation & helplessness on a day-or-two off is now possible: provisions, practising & computing.
On check-in, Adrian & I signed a form promising not to have parties in our room. This is Saturday night, after all. The corridor outside this room is, however, a meeting & partying point for at least 4 families in adjoining / opposite rooms who have come here to party together, and if not in their rooms, then in the corridor. I am within the party-zone, without the partying.
An enjoyable Japanese meal, within driving distance of the hotel, with Bill Munyon…
