DGM HQ.

The morning at World HQ, in e-discussion regarding the development of dgmlive.com, taking into account the many responses & postings from visitors. The overall view seems to be that the site works well, and now let’s fine tune.

Then to Wonder Osteopath of Kings Heath, Birmingham, who is very happy with my back recovery & repair; to Uncle Bill in Uxbridge, who was in Remembrance Sunday commemoration at the Cenotaph in Whitehall recently; and then to the October Gallery in London.

Anthony Blake and John Allen were in dialogue on What Is Science? As always, thought provoking and an exercise in attention. One interesting quoted fact: the Indian generic substitute for a US retroviral pill costs $1. The cost in America: $17. That’s a lot of mark-up. I am not cynical, but I do wonder where’s the profit in finding a cure, rather than managing the situation? Overall, I came away with the sense that science in the West is very much like the provision of music in the West.

Now at DGM HQ, with a very welcoming floor; arriving to a temperature of –5.5C.
