DGM HQ It is conventional

It is conventional to view professional disasters, such as Endless Grief – conflict of interest, misleading advice deliberately given, hubris & belligerence, mis-management of the affairs of those reliant on it, great difficulty in getting paid income already received by management – piracy, bootlegging & other forms of theft, as deviations from the norm, even just bad luck.

Actually, there is nothing exceptional in this at all: this is just another day in the music industry. What is exceptional & uncommon is straightforward, transparent & equitable business undertaken with goodwill.

Similarly, we regard states of conflict, war formally declared or not, as exceptions to a norm of peacetime. But a reading of history, even just-a-little, shows that outbreaks of peace are the exceptions to the norm .
