Very respectful, very honourable.

I am immensely proud of Uncle Bill. We have had a number of adventures in the past ten years, some reported here in the Diary.

18.53 David has just left, after a successful day of preparing Rough Music.

Uncle’s daughter Sue, who has been a hero and Uncle’s primary support in recent months, has just called.

23.40 An enquiry from the BBC R4 PM programme, for an interview with me re: Uncle at 17.00. I would happily have done so. The enquiry was originally sent this morning to The Agency in London, forwarded to my US management, forwarded to me and arriving an hour ago.
