DGM HQ.
A sunny morning in the Chalke Valley…
Today is the beginning of the three-month Basic Course at Camp Caravan, Massachusetts. Two Guitar Craft pals are participating.
10.48 Paper. Stuff. Misery.
An insurance claim form, for the i-Pod lost returning from Estonia, is in front of me. Once I calculate the value of my time & that of DGM Office Manager Indeg, I lose less if I throw the claim form into the bin.
11.11 What’s David reading?
Well, here are Crimson pals Bradley Britvic …
… and the Wilton Carpet…
11.21 Now, onto the Morning Shift in SoundWorlld II…
David 7 Robert are addressing The Second Day at Pärnu Eliisabeti kirik on August 23rd. 2006…

I wonder what the weather is like in Parnu this morning?

A traditional house…
12.34 The performance is very inward looking, and comes to life in the second part (after thanks were given).
In the inbox from a pal who is on the road tour-managing…
I enjoyed on the past… tours coming back to my hotel room and in some cases finding bits and pieces of the evening’s performace already up on Youtube. Also, it is always thrilling to see items on Ebay that had been recently autographed. One man brought some pick guards for a Telecaster to be signed and low and behold...
This brings to mind an Ebay story from several years ago. Their former record company president had gone through his archives and was selling cancelled royalty checks on Ebay which had their signatures on them. Not only did you get a bonafide piece of rock memorabilia but also included on the back of the checks were either J’s or J’s bank account numbers or Social Security numbers. What a nice guy!
13.42 Hugh has returned from performance triumphs with his band & is in the DGM Art Department today…
David & Robert are back in Soundworld II to p&q The Second Day. Thribbling, clack & tattle are 3 words of English rarely used today, and are amusing both of us.
14.19 Burning a The Second Day cd & off to Bredonborough.
