DGM HQ.
A grey day along the valley.
Morning reading…
… this particular copy acquired in the Ashburton Bookshop, Devon, perhaps 20ish years ago for £1. It is personally signed by the author…
… and inscribed to Hugh Heckstall-Smith I…
II…
… the Father of Dick Heckstall-Smith
DU II is stunning. JGB saw something, and it talked back. A remarkable presentation of the mechanics involved in falling from the roof garden to the subterranean terror beneath the basement.
09.53 A piece of a current online exchange from one of the countless interaction sites for interaction, unintentional validation for the mechanics mentioned above…

Hmmm...did you ever bother to consider perhaps King Crimson was before my time? Your problem-solving skills are lacking, douche nozzle. For future reference, calling people morons because they’ve never heard a band only proves you are a simpleton. You’re welcome.

Hey moron - You’re 30-ish and you’re just finding out about Crimso, right? I was 15, that’s right, FIFTEEN when I tuned into them, just to put things in perspective. What backwater town did you grow up in, bumpkin?

I am 31, and you are 44. You do realize that King Crimson was more popular when you were 15 than they are now, right? Or is that asking too much of your sixth grade math skills? As for why I never heard of them, I can only assume I was too busy listening to other types of music, spending time with friends, and having sex. Ask your sister about the sex part, I’m sure she can provide you with a glowing review of my performance.

Er, that doesn’t work dumbass. King Crimson is no more popular today - What do you think, people suddenly woke up one day and said, ’Gee, art rock is the best!’... No! And don’t flatter yourself, Casanova... You’re such an ass...

If you think that King Crimson is just as popular today as they were back in the 70’s, then I suggest you look at their Wikipedia entry, and see for yourself which decades get the most attention in the write-up. Exactly how much do you even know about this band?? Not enough, apparently. And yeah, I might be an ass, but you are a dumbass. All I am doing is defending myself from a stupid asshole (that would be you), since you felt compelled to call me an "idiot". And now you look like the idiot.

20.57 A day of e-frenzying, stuff, paper & computing.
I have through-listened twice to The Vicar’s album. It has convinced both my non-attentive hearing & attentive listening. This is a rare achievement.
David has just left DGM SoundWorld I & gone home. More computing ahead.
