DGM HQ.

A bright, sunny day along the valley.

A call from the Minx at 08.20: domestic disordering is disordering her day.

Mr. Stormy has arrived, and in the DGM Art Department II Ben Singleton is at work designing a new range of limited edition KC t-shirts I…

11.54    A kitchen meeting with David, who appeared astonished that banoffee tarts might be served this early in the day…

9jul5b.jpg

Surely not! The primary subject of the meeting: KC on iTunes. Also discussed, new arisings, notions and bright wheezes.

12.23    Off to lunch with Patricia and old Winburnian pals, the Wyatts.

19.56    Leaving DGM c. 12.30, driving through Martin and towards the Magic Wood…

… into Cranborne past the Red Lion House I…

I wonder if, in years to come, this might be a destination for visiting elderly Crafties, or perhaps their children.

Next door down-the-hill is the home of Mrs. Mackenzie, widow of Colonel Mackenzie who flew away last year. The Mackenzies were wonderful neighbours, exceptionally kind to the young Crafties staying in this GC House, a long way from home.

A fabbo lunch in the second chapel down-the-hill from that behind the Old Police Station, which for a while became Tony Arnold’s The Courthouse studio and where Tony, David Singleton and myself worked on The Great Deceiver Box Set (1992).

Leaving the Wyatts’ and Mr. Wakeford’s c. 16.00 for West Moors and Cousin Sue, Uncle Bill’s youngest daughter, and her husband David. We were collecting one-third of Uncle’s ashes, which we carried out to Witchampton Churchyard. This is where, on 16th. May, 1986, I stood with my just-became Wife…

… and today, we are placing our portion of Uncle Bill’s earthly remains with half of Uncle Charlie’s ashes (placed by myself on Thursday 2nd. April, 2009 with Uncle Bill himself saluting)

After this Fripp Family undertaking, returning Sistery to her pal’s at Merley.

Arriving back at DGM HQ c. 19.40 as the Minx was calling, reporting on her day’s excitements.

An evening computing ahead.
