Chez Horse Chiswick Hooray Toyah

19.12
Chez Horse, Chiswick.

Hooray! Toyah & I have walked around the West End, and then down to the Southbank to see the London Eye. Now, my feet hurt.

The flight arrived early, and then flew around on a holding pattern for nearly an hour. I note the airbound increase in sniffies who would rather sniff repeatedly than blow their nose; coughers who don't cover their mouths but honk over anyone nearby; throat clearers who do so loudly and repeatedly rather; and sneezers aplenty. Why this fairly recent increase in nasal, throat & chest activities? It seems to have replaced nail biting & skin chewing, two other activities which sicken me when placed in close proximity for 8-12 hours. What is astonishing is the presumed veil of invisibility which falls over this range of personal activities, possibly preventing the passenger in adjoining seat from being aware of their sickening gamut of gurgles & chewing.
