21.04  Performance at dinner, twice.

A question on my (startled) response to the word start: for a process to remain on course to its completion, a beginning is important. Three endings: a finish, where something is lost; a conclusion, where nothing is lost but not much is gained either; and a completion, which is a new beginning.

The person asking has had an insight into how he starts to play guitar. He wondered why he was in pain when playing & attributed this to the intrinsic nature of guitar playing, rather than his own approach to playing.

Comments on the Tone Clock.

One of the members of the course is venting violently.

Staff meeting after dinner.

22.38  The large Circle meeting was lead by one of the Team, interested in developing a variation of theirs in a large group. This took the place of the last full-group evening I would have had led on this course.
