Bredonobrough.

A knock upon the back door c. 09.20. I thought immediately: It’s Mr. Cheese, wondering if I had received his e-mail! And it was indeed Mr. Cheese the Constructionist, wondering if I had received his e-mail. Mr. Cheese was visiting for a small item of maintenance, which he honourably and swiftly addressed. This falls more under the heading of intentional acts of kindness than business strategy for the profit-maximizing building firm. Which is perhaps why Bredonborough is a wonderful place to live and why I have never been happier.

Event of the morning: photographer Scarlet Page (wiki) is arriving around eleven, an introduction / connection made by David Enthoven (Startups / E.G. Records).

11.23    Scarlet arrived punctually at 11.00 and is setting up in the Cellar I…

Scarlet told me she loathes being photographed. In this, Scarlet has my sympathy. So why is the Old Goat being trotted out?…

Scarlet is fundraising for the Teenage Cancer Trust. A series of portraits of guitar persons is to be exhibited at the Royal Albert Hall, the first prints autographed and sold.

15.28    Scarlet left at noon. As straightforward and enjoyable as a photo session gets.

MinxLunch prepared and to e-flurrying. An e-mail from a Circler at Caorle last week, reporting a considerable experience. From the reply…

experiences such as this are direct and powerful. what to do?

hold yourself into place when these things happen.

and this requires an established practice.
otherwise, the experience moves into personality and egoism:
i am special because i have had this experience!

one of my brothers of the path went mad, and to the asylum.
he was young, and felt himself special. his fuses blew.
now, forty years later, he is in the place that was shown him then.
but at the time...

I guess it was some kind divine mercy I experienced

this is a very good way of describing it.

the Circle is archetypical. it is eternal.
when we move into the Guitar Circle we are moving into a space that has "been there" forever.
so, good to move into the Circle intentionally.

the symbol (shown in the experience): perhaps a good idea to draw it, as best you can. and, over the years, in your research you may come across it…

The question now seems to be: how does one process these things?

with our feet on the earth, our eyes to the heavens, and our Wish on fire!

16.40 And a little MinxShopping

A call to a Crafty of the early years in Pennslyvania. Life is hard, but without complaint, and good wishes fly both ways.

18.58    An e-mail went out today re: the King Crimson likely schedule for 2014.

A call to Jakko.
Practising.

19.57    MinxSupper and to gentle. An adoration of the WillyFred is ahead. An adoration of the Wife, also.
