Bredonborough.

Two bags have arrived from EasyJet 3.5 days late. But, they have arrived. In T’s bag, the charger for her Blackberry mobile ‘phone. As most of her business is conducted on this, constant charging is necessary. The’phone is out of power, so this is going to London with me shortly…

20.26  DGM HQ.

T’s charger arrived at Chez Minx, Chiswick, on a day the council had cut off the electricity to the area, for various important reasons. So, no re-powering for a mobile without power, no fax machine for important faxing.

First adventure: to a hotel in Victoria for a Reception on the occasion of Estonia’s Independence Day, in the presence of the President HE Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves.

We were introduced to HE by the Ambassador to the UK, Dr. Margus Laidre. Mr. Ilves’ began our conversation: I was the first person to buy ITCOTCK on vinyl in the US. Well. PJ Crook & Richard Parker Crook were also among the guests at this very successful reception.

Then to the hotel business centre & its fax machine. T’s important incoming fax had been delivered in error to Dr. Laidre, which actually made for swift delivery. An important outgoing fax & then from Victoria to Oxford Street for our second adventure…

Luminous, a new exhibit of 77 Million Paintings by seminal sound and light artist Brian Eno… at Selfridges’ London (400 Oxford St, London W1A 2LR), and run between 27 January to 11 March in the Ultralounge, its dedicated space for special projects.

On the left of the entrance to the exhibit were four of Brian’s paintings in print form, framed & signed. A rope covered the entrance: the exhibition was closed because of technical problems. T & I hooted! The refusal of material objects to behave, a seeming decision to break down and/or be difficult, a characteristic of our past several weeks, has not singled/duoed us out, then: Eno is also being picked on. This was a considerable relief. We enjoyed the four paintings, and have 76,999,996 more to go.

Now, at DGM HQ, the floor is waiting…

… but not until stuff has been addressed. Workstation…
