Bredonborough The sky was blue

19.34

Bredonborough.

The sky was blue, the sun was shining, for the farmers' market this morning. It was held in the market place directly in front of our home. Music of choice was The is no rose of swych vertu: Carols for a Medieval Christmas but the brass band in the square, playing most welcome chestnuts of the Christmas kind, struck the kind of contrast that Ives achieved, but more successfully. I deferred to live music & enjoyed it heartily.

This afternoon, the sky became grey with associated dampness, while I was practising.

Tea with Parents & Sister-In-Law - pikelets & tasty cream cakes, and hand-delivering cards to neighbours this cold & dark evening. But at home, the sun is shining.

Further practising awaits --
