The Minx says she returned home c. 01.30 and continues to deal with her recorded delivery package that was not delivered.

In the Cellar e-flurrying, preparing lunch, and off  for an afternoon of adventures.

19.45    Collecting our local pals at 14.08, formerly of the haunted house across the Market Square and now in Wick, a mile down the road. Driving country roads to Ashton-Under-Hill and the village Open Gardens.

Beginning with a picnic by the cricket pitch…

Our local pal was clunked on the ankle by a cricket ball fired from the nets. Ouch!

Two other residents of Wick were also visiting the gardens. We know them from our walking to Wick Village: they leant out of their cottage window and invited us in for a drink, even though we have never met before. They joined our picnic I…
