Rising at 06.55 from a dream in which Tom the Sanitarian was present. Less coughing in the night than has been usual.
The Minx is just off to Worcester A&E with Barbara & PA John, for follow-up on Barbara’s Monday-fall in the loft of her cottage. While I was opening the gates to facilitate their egress, I found a local pal on the street, waiting for Green’s Ironmongers to open. A few words, a wave as Mr. Ironmonger, also a local pal, appeared, on this wonderful Spring morning. Nothing here that was not commonplace, other than the simplicity of the commonplace is so uncommon in my life. A small joy.
14.15 Coffee & tea with PA John, Barbara & the Minx, returning from A&E at Worcestershire. Barbara is in good shape; albeit with a nasty scraping that will take some time to fully heal.

Perhaps squerd, in various densities, is the basic material from which the Universe is formed? An entire cosmology could be founded on The Twelve Densities Of Squerd. The finest density of squerd would then equate to God. This would immediately reconcile all divergent materialist & idealist notions of Deity, join together agnostics, atheists & people of faith, heal schism & bring about world peace. Wherever dissension looked likely to re-emerge, all parties would sit & share a meal of squerd in three colours: green, brown & pink; then rise from the table re-united brothers & sisters in the Communion of Squerd.
The presence of very-fine-squerd in a person would account for profound spiritual insights; and a more dense squerd (as pictured above at the end of the Minx finger) more likely to fortify the system & encourage regularity of the organism. Continual ingestation of squerd, of variegated colour, would become the foundation of each & any spiritual, philosophical, craft & arts practice; preparing the novice for the descent of the Spirit, and the Personal Individuality to accept its becoming one in the Cosmic Individuality.
Former Guitar Craft students, already introduced on courses to the healing properties of squerd, both savoury & dessert, might develop a whole industry of Squerd Foods – Good For The Nascent Soul & The Bowels! They would become very rich and send me 25% of gross receipts from their immense global sales. This would enable me to sit by the back door, in sunshine such as today, and leisurely refine my own practice, perhaps even with a book & a cappuccino, while reflecting with gratitude on how good fortune in life flows toward the deserving.
This is a plan.
